Today at breakfast we somehow got to topic of cheese - different kinds, what we use most of at our house, what kinds we like... Jonny then stated, "Swiss cheese is the most used kind of cheese because it's what they show the most in cartoons.". Layne's response..."and there you have it". Researchers love to hear about the 'facts' because of what's presented in cartoons. So, if you're wondering - just forget about research, what you learned in your statistics class or any knowledge you might have about making an hypothesis - just go with what's on cartoons. (I guess that means you'd actually have to watch them first.)
(This picture is of Jonny turning his choice of snowman nose into a weapon he can wield like a sword. I think it's a guy thing - kind of like watching cartoons seems to be more of a guy thing.)
