Wish I Could Have Taken A Picture

Megan was assigned to share a scripture in Primary yesterday (Opening Exercises). They have the kids sit up front. She sat so still and seemed so grown up. She had worn her 'blue flower dress' (it's a favorite - worn every time it's clean) and had ever so daintily let it drape over her crossed legs until it was 'just right'. She seemed to know what she was doing. It was a great parent moment. (I was especially pleased considering she's usually not one to sit still for very long.)

Everyone Was There!

We recently spent a week in California with Layne's family. We actually got to see everyone! Very exciting!

Who Could Be Happier...

than a kid in a candy store?

We went to the Jelly Belly Factory while we were in CA. The kids seemed to enjoy it.
Free Samples! Who doesn't love that - no matter what your age?
Love this! Candy in her hand, candy in her mouth and apparently candy in her tummy. What 5 year old wouldn't be smiling? (Well, as much of a smile as she can muster with a mouth full of candy.)
Eating candy from the sample bag - while trying to get candy from the machine. Sounds like too much of a good thing.
Ahh...the wonder!

Presidency Meeting

Have you ever tried to have a Beehive (12-13 year olds) Presidency Meeting a few days after they've spent a week at Brighton Camp (girls' camp for their age group)?!?!
They'll be playing the 'laughing game' (Ha- HaHa-HaHaHa)...AND
Making 'stars'...All while singing multiple rounds of 'Black Socks'.
Love My Girls!!
(It was actually more successful than you might think - although, I still get the song stuck in my head now and then. Thanks a lot!)
